Welcome to the DULOG Patrons page. This is where you can find information on becoming a 'Friend of DULOG', an 'Annual patron' or a 'Life patron'. Being involved in DULOG need not come to an end once you leave Durham, nor is DULOG exclusively for students. If you are a parent of a current DULOG member, a Durham alumnus, the owner of a local business or simply an audience member, you could become a DULOG patron. There are varying levels of patronage, but generally as a patron you will receive regular updates on DULOG and our upcoming shows, and a number of complimentary tickets throughout the year. To become a patron, or to receive more information, please contact the Patrons Secretary, Adele Pope.

Types of patronage

Friend of DULOG

  • £10 each year, which ensures one free ticket and one free programme for any Assembly Rooms show over the year, and subsequently tickets at the reduced DULOG price.
  • Friends also receive full details of all performances and events (by post or email), and feedback on shows.

Annual patron

  • No specific amount is requested though we estimate between £35-£100, or a voluntary annual contribution.
  • Annual patrons receive three free tickets and three free programmes valid for any Assembly Rooms show, and subsequently tickets at the reduced DULOG price.
  • Annual patrons also receive full details of all performances and events (by post or email), and feedback on shows.
  • Annual patrons are listed with thanks in all of our programmes.
  • Annual patrons receive an invitation to the champagne reception prior to the final performance of any large-scale production which takes place at the Gala Theatre, Durham.

Life patron

  • No specific amount is requested, although we estimate a one-off lump sum of over £100.
  • Life patrons receive six free tickets and three free programmes valid for any Assembly Rooms show, and subsequently tickets at the reduced DULOG price.
  • Life patrons also receive full details of all performances and events (by post or email), and feedback on shows.
  • Life patrons are listed with thanks in all of our programmes.
  • Life patrons receive an invitation to the champagne reception prior to the final performance of any large-scale production which takes place at the Gala Theatre, Durham.
